Originally from Thailand, Waew, also known as "Wow," moved to Canada in 2009 to pursue her passion for healing and wellness. With a strong foundation as a Thai Massage Therapist in Thailand, she continued her journey in Canada by completing 2,200 hours of an Advanced Massage Therapy Diploma at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in 2012. Since then, she has been a dedicated massage therapist in Calgary, helping clients achieve health, wellness, and relief through her expertise.
Waew's commitment to expanding her expertise led her to become a Manual Osteopathy Therapist, graduating from the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada (MOCC) in 2021. She is trained in osteo-articular adjustments, fascia mobilization, organ mobility, manual lymph drainage, craniosacral therapy, muscle energy techniques, and visceral manipulation. This achievement represents a significant milestone in her career, enhancing her ability to provide comprehensive and effective care for her clients.
Driven by a passion for education and knowledge-sharing, Waew developed a Traditional Thai Massage Course aimed at refining techniques, igniting passion, and nurturing empathy. Her mission is to empower fellow massage therapists with the skills and confidence necessary to safely and effectively perform 60, 90, or 120-minute Thai massage sessions, ultimately improving their practice and enabling them to offer greater value to their clients.
Following requests from her students for additional courses, she now also offers Thai Table Massage, Thai Royal Bamboo, Thai Herbal Ball Compress, Thai Foot Massage and Thai Hot Oil Massage. She hopes that through continued learning, her students will contribute to the well-being of their communities and carry forward the rich tradition of Thai massage therapy.
